Caryl A. Washburn Develops Non-Invasive CTS Therapy

After studying the many varied treatment philosophies, Caryl Washburn began to develop her own treatment methodology called the Washburn Approach. Arising from this approach, a simple tool was developed to address Repetitive Stress Disorders. The CTExerciser works well because it treats the cause of repetitive stress injuries (such as CTS) and not the symptoms described below.

A study by the Mayo clinic that was recently published in Neurology, found that of all the computer users who participated in the survey, only 10.5 percent met the clinical criteria for CTS. This incidence is comparable to that found in the general population.

Contributing Factors

Be aware of the health conditions that are predispositions for carpal tunnel syndrome. Fluid retention is a major contributor to repetitive stress injuries, and occurs in women during pregnancy and in those who suffer from Pre Menstrual Syndrome or use contraceptive pills. Diabetes and Thyroid problems are systemic disorders that tend to stress the nerves, thereby inhibiting the normal function of the fascia tissues. Additionally, a pyridoxine (vitamin B6) deficiency can also induce the symptoms of Cumulative Trauma Dysfunction. If any of these conditions applies to you, you are at risk for this disorder. With the CTExerciser, you can protect you from unnecessary pain and suffering that could potentially disable you.

Symptoms

Tingling and numbness in the first two fingers and thumb
Ache from the base of the thumb, moving up as far as the neck
Burning pain from the wrist to the fingers
Change in touch or temperature sensation (either increase or decrease)
Clumsiness or weakness of grip, pinch, and thumb actions
Swelling of the hand and forearm
Sudden loss of grip
Change in sweatiness of the hand
Symptoms worsen at night or upon waking in the morning
Symptoms worsen while driving a car

Try the solution that addresses the causes of CTS and not the symptoms. The CTExerciser.
