Wrist injuries are the most prevalent ailment in Golf
Golf seems to have it's share of lower back and shoulder injuries, however, it's interesting that in most cases the wrist and hands take the most abuse. Whether pro or amateur, one explanation for this is that wrist pain is simply symptomatic of bad form, improper use of the wrists and conditioning, leading to tension and overcontrol in the arms to maintain the swing. In addition, hitting hard ground, digging out bad lies, and the using the sand wedge in wet sand can make your hands feel sore! Over time, tendonitis can occur in the extensor tendons, along the back of the wrist and hand. And the flexor tendons can be painful, too. All these conditions can be extremely painful but may be treated with ice, compression, anti-inflammatory medications and rest.

So, you've had to give up your game for awhile or it's winter in your area. This is where the CTExerciser works as part of your training and rehabilitation program. (Put your putter back in the closet!) It's designed to work the muscles, ligaments and tendons in the hands, wrists and forearms in the proper manner to increase flexibility and movement. Featuring an injection-molded plastic handle with a rubber grip, its unique design targets not only wrist and forearm extension and flexion, but also ulna and radial rotation.

This allows the user to symmetrically train all the muscles in the arms associated with golf for improved grip and club control. Stronger wrists and forearms can effectively help reduce pain associated with carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis and golf elbow.
